Directions
Ingredients:
- 1 lb Hunters Lake Ranch ground beef
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp soy sauce or coconut aminos
- 1 tsp grated fresh ginger
- 1/2 tsp chili flakes (optional)
- 1 head butter lettuce or romaine, leaves separated
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 1/2 cup shredded red cabbage
- Fresh cilantro or green onions for garnish
- Lime wedges (optional)
Instructions:
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onion and garlic and cook until fragrant and softened.
- Add ground beef, breaking it up with a spatula, and cook until browned.
- Stir in soy sauce, ginger, and chili flakes. Cook for another 2 minutes to combine flavors.
- Remove from heat. Spoon the beef mixture into lettuce leaves.
- Top with carrot, cabbage, and fresh herbs. Squeeze lime over the top if you like a little zest.
- Roll up and enjoy immediately!
